Monetary Monopolization

Why does the amount of money in our bank accounts hold so much power to what we can do in life?

This amount of money is merely reflected by a number, a value that controls us and limits our abilities to do what we want to do.

But what if......

Every bank account had a "deposit" of $100,000 added into it.  This transaction is all digital, and although there are records, checks, balances etc. that the "treasury" has to maintain, would it REALLY make a difference?  It is literally a digital value, that can be altered at any given moment.

During the course of COVID and the stimulus checks that were released, it became very clear that we have the power to manipulate this number in order to provide to the people.

Sure, the government can say that the money came from "somewhere" but "where" did it really come from?  Even if it can be fabricated into a tangible piece of paper, it is still only a number!!

Money has become its own form of a monopoly, in which we have the ability to override.

Of course, there could be consequences with this concept.  If everyone was given an extra $100,000, the economy would definitely be affected.

Many people would quit their jobs, go on shopping sprees and begin to live lavishly.  But other people might actually put it towards helping the community, building their own empires, and in turn making a positive difference in the world.

Would we really suffer, or we would begin to realize that life is not based around numbers?  It is based around connections, purpose and contributing to society in a way that society will contribute back to us.

It would force us to get inside ourselves and do what we want, need, and are destined to do rather than slaving away for others just to make ends meet.

We need to get to a place where we are no longer dictated by numbers, but where numbers are dictated by us.
