Pacific Northwest

Ocean, waterfalls, mountains and a forest right out of FernGully, the Pacific Northwest has an abundance of scenic adventure to offer.

Wind your way through the meandering bluffs as you drive along Highway 101, or stop along the way for a beach stroll.  Look around, as there are many unusual sea creatures and plant life that you may not have known existed otherwise.

A coastal sunset is a real treat as you hear the waves crash, smell the ocean breeze and relax atop the rocky cliffside as the sun ends its journey across the United States.

Here you will find information and pictures from the following locations:

OREGON

A place where moss grows on almost everything, waterfalls are abundant, and coastal sunsets never cease to amaze.

Many outdoor adventures await such as visiting the famous Haystack Rock, walking to the top of Multnomah Falls, or tubing down the Columbia River.

For those interested in exploring the city, Portland offers some strange sightings and very eclectic people.

Check out the Portland City Grill for some stunning city views and enjoy a stroll through the beautiful rose garden. (It's free!)

WASHINGTON

This is one state I did not have much opportunity to explore, however what I did see was truly impressive.

The city offers many experiences ranging from the incredible views atop the Space Needle, to walking around the Fish Market and leaving your gum on a germ-filled alley wall.

Gas Works Park and Troll Bridge offer some unique views and interesting sites, but a must-see is definitely the skyline view from Kerry Park!

IDAHO

Although this is another location that I have never given much time to fully explore, I can say that is definitely under-rated.

Vast hilly mountains, open plains, a scarcity of people and what's referred to as the "Niagara of the West," Idaho really deserves more recognition than it often gets!

Also, their 4th of July fireworks display did not disappoint!

The most common airport to fly into will be Boise (BOI), which is approximately 20 minutes away from the city center.
