China
Being one of the oldest civilizations in the world, China is a very large country with also the largest population on the planet.
It is known widely for its mass manufacturing, creative cuisine, martial arts, and of course, the Great Wall. As it is the only monument visible from space, it makes a top bucket list item for many travelers and completes a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
As an American, traveling to China requires a special Visa in which must be obtained prior to entry. This obstacle unfortunately prevented me from being able to exit the ship in the Chinese ports, but definitely gives me a reason to return!
Here you will find information and pictures from the following locations:
HONG KONG
Beautiful skyline views and its own Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hong Kong resembles something similar to a "Los Angeles of Asia."
Since it is an independent country, they do not have all the same rules and regulations as China, which works favorably for American travelers.

SHANGHAI
Unable to exit the ship in this Chinese port, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the harbor sits right in heart of the city and offers amazing views of the skyline as a variety of colorful, neon-lit boats venture in and out.
It has a very futuristic appeal and resembles something out of The Jetson's.
Shanghai is also very well known for the impressive acrobatic shows and surely will not disappoint!
