DOG SLEDDING IN ALASKA

Alaska is known for many things, one of which being dogsledding.

Every year, mushing teams travel 1,100+ miles between Anchorage and Nome, in the traditional Iditarod dog-sled race.

A variety of camps and training sites are established throughout the tundra, and there are different tours that will allow you to experience first-hand what it's like to "mush, mush, mush."

This particular tour was out of Skagway, AK and included a scenic helicopter flight with a glacier landing at base camp.

From there you can play with the pups, board the sleds and go on a ride of a lifetime!
