Vanuatu

This may be a location many people aren't familiar with, and that's exactly why I like it.

Located in the South Pacific, Vanuatu offers the tropical getaway without all the commercial and tourism vibes.

Although there are a variety of islands to explore, all photos pictured here are of Luganville. 

In Luganville lies Million Dollar Point, a vast undersea junkyard of military trucks, bulldozers, tractors, clothing and food that was all dumped in the ocean at the end of World War II.

Another well-kept secret is the Blue Lagoon, a tropical swimming hole surrounded by lush wilderness and gorgeous flowers.  It is located next to the sea, making it uniquely salty at high tide and fresh at low tide.

This destination puts a different spin on the term "paradise" and for that very reason it is truly worth checking out!
